Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder (born Winona Laura Hornowitz) was born in Winona Minnesota. Her parents named her after her hometown. Michel Horowitz is her father as well as Cynthia Palmer is her mother. Ryder's father is from an ethnically Jewish family. Ryder believes she is Jewish. Ryder has a younger brother Uria as well as two half siblings Jubal as well as Sunyata. In the year Ryder was seven, her family moved from Mendocino County, California. Mendocino County California. At the time, there was no electricity. Ryder who was an avid reader when she was 12 became a book worm due to the fact that Ryder was not able to access television. At the age of 12 Ryder enrolled in the American Conservatory Theatre to take acting classes. At the age of fifteen, she landed her first acting job on the screen in Lucas. Ryder suffered from bullying throughout highschool. Ryder was hopeful that her work as an actress would bring about change. It didn't turn out. However, she kept working towards her dreams. Beetlejuice the 1988 Tim Burton film, was her first major breakthrough. Ryder was able to continue her successful characters in numerous films. In 1993, Ryder was in the running two times for Academy Awards.
