Together with her family, she became famous with E! reality show on the network Keeping Up with the Kardashians which primarily banked on her step-sister Kim Kardashian's high profile relationships. Kylie Jenner's younger sister Kendall Jenner was also popular after her appearance on the screen. They even ventured into writing by ghostwriting a teenage sci-fi novel titled Rebels: City of Indra. Kylie soon began modeling and was featured in a variety of commercials, as well as music videos of popular musical stars.
