Nicky Whelan

Nicky Whelan (born 10 May 1981) is an Australian actress and model. She became known in Australia by playing Pepper Steiger which she played in the soap opera Neighbors over a period of one hundred episodes that aired between 2006 and 2007. Her initial project that she worked on in Hollywood was the choral comedy Hollywood & Wine, where she played an actor who had never been to Hollywood. Then by landing a recurring part in the 9th season of Scrubs in the role of Maya an extremely sexy medical student. However, the show is abruptly ended. In the following year, she continued filming her Farrelly Brothers comedy called Good to Shoot that starred Jason Sudeikis as well as Owen Wilson. Then she performed in B-series films as well as series shorts. The year 2013 saw her debut, she was able to take on more challenging projects. She was featured in six episodes of the crime drama Franklin and Bash, and then got her first role as a regular on the online series Chosen, starring Milo Ventimiglia. In the two first seasons, she was Chad Michael Murray's response in each season. Later in the year, she played in supporting roles for two feature films involving airplanes. The actress is an air hostess. In addition, she together with Gabriel Luna share the poster for Matador, a brand new television series. The current season of the thriller that sees the actors take on the role of CIA agents under Robert Rodriguez's direction, comprises only 13 episodes. A pilot of a different show, which hasn't had much success, is in production. She also shared the promotional poster for a B-Series romance Borrowed Moments with Brian Krause then appeared on the show comedy Witness for Rent worn by Kevin Hart Josh Gad and Kaley Cuoco. The experimental Knight of Cups, directed by Terrence malick, also sold out to a wide audience. She appears in 5 shows of Satisfaction.
